Job summary

OhioGuidestone seeks a Licensed Therapist for MRSS in Fairfield County to provide individual, family and group therapy under supervision. The role involves crisis support, treatment planning, and collaboration with families and community resources.

The position requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent), appropriate licensure (LSW/LCDC III, LPC, MFT or similar), and flexibility to work varied hours. Join a stable nonprofit with strong mission and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited program; or Bachelor's degree with 2 years’ social work or counseling experience; or a Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral science or nursing.
• LSW or LCDC III, LPC, MFT licensure or related educational requirements.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.
• Effective documentation and record-keeping within agency guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseload.
• Complete documented Treatment Plans after first encounter and subsequent progress reviews.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with clients, families and caregivers.
• Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner.
• Coordinate referrals and liaise with community resources; advocate for clients.
