Job summary

OhioGuidestone in Delaware County is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our behavioral health team. Under supervision, you will provide individual, family and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and respond to crises with culturally responsive care.

You will coordinate community supports, document thoroughly, attend supervision, maintain licenses, and collaborate with partners to connect clients with needed resources.

Qualifications

• LSW or LCDC III, LPC, MFT license required.
• Master’s degree from a relevant program, or Bachelor’s with 2 years’ social work/counseling experience.
• Bachelor’s in behavioral science or nursing acceptable.
• Ability to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseload.
• Complete Treatment Plan after first encounter and review progress.
• Develop therapeutic relationship with client, family, and caregivers.
• Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner.
• Identify interventions for clients in crisis and engage community resources.
• Provide CPST, SUD Targeted Case Management and TBS as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and advocate for clients.
• Participate in treatment conferences and maintain ongoing contact with professionals.
• Accurately document client and family interactions; maintain compliance with guidelines.
• Attend supervision and maintain required licenses.
