Job summary

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network seeks an experienced Registered Nurse – Crisis Services to monitor clients, administer medications, and document care within established nursing processes. The role includes collaborating with doctors and nurses to determine the best treatment plans and ensure safety during crises.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure, with knowledge of behavioral health care, documentation, and crisis management.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as an RN (BSN preferred).
• One year of full-time behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the nursing practice act and facility policies.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects.
• Document care in patient charts and electronic records.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
