Job summary

DETROIT WAY Integrated HEALTH Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for Crisis Services in Detroit. Under supervision of the Charge Nurse, you will monitor clients, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with healthcare providers to plan and evaluate treatment.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure, 1 year in behavioral health, and the ability to work a 12-hour contingency schedule in a 24/7 Crisis Care Center, including flexibility. Vaccination proof may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• One year of full-time paid experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Trauma Informed Care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests; administers medications and treatments.
• Counsels and educates patients and families on treatment plans; documents care.
