Job summary

The Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Crisis Services unit. Under the Charge Nurse's supervision, you will monitor clients, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families using the nursing process.

This 12-hour shift, 24/7 unit requires a flexible schedule, vaccination against COVID-19 proof, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to develop recovery-oriented care plans.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (BSN preferred).
• One year of full-time paid experience in a behavioral health setting.
• MI RN licensure and valid driver's license required.
• Trauma-informed care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within the scope of nursing practice and facility policies.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side effects and reactions.
• Documents patient care in charts and department records; maintains records.
• Collaborates with supervisors, doctors, and the care team to plan and evaluate treatment.
