Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred or enrolled within 6 months of hire
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience, preferably in mental health/crisis intervention
• Strong knowledge of mental health conditions, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to stay calm under pressure
• Empathetic, nonjudgmental approach when working with individuals in crisis

Responsabilités

• Conduct thorough assessments of physical and mental health upon admission
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and team to develop crisis plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor progress and respond to changes in condition
• Provide emotional support, psychoeducation, and coping strategies to clients and families
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
