Housing Forward is seeking a Crisis Response Coordinator to manage the day-to-day unsheltered homelessness response within a defined zone. You will coordinate outreach, housing partners, and municipalities to advance individuals toward shelter and permanent housing, and you will maintain accountability across collaborating agencies.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to coordinate multiple locations, individuals, and partners while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop clear action plans, define responsibilities, track milestones and timelines, and drive initiatives toward intended outcomes through consistent follow-through and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust, collaborate across organizations, and move shared efforts forward without direct supervisory authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate priorities, responsibilities, and progress to diverse audiences.

Responsabilités

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of unsheltered homelessness within the assigned zone and oversee outreach activity and rehousing efforts.
• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of response strategies and ensure alignment with priority goals and timelines.
• Serve as central coordinator among outreach teams, housing providers, municipalities, public safety, and other partners to advance shelter and housing outcomes.
• Monitor progress against plans, identify gaps, and adjust activities; escalate challenges with practical recommendations to leadership.
• Participate in Crisis Response Team meetings and encampment planning activities while ensuring trauma-informed, person-centered practices.
