Job summary

Thresholds is seeking an Assistant Program Director for Crisis Response to lead day-to-day operations of the Crisis Response program and provide direct services and supervision to teams across Stroger Hospital Crisis, Stroger Assertive Community Linkage, Living Room, and Mobile Crisis Response.

This role reports to the Program Director and manages staff, budgets, and compliance with CARF, Medicare, and Medicaid standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field required.
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field preferred.
• Three (3) years of leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to synthesize and summarize information to make judgments regarding member care.
• Computer proficiency, including the ability to use email, navigate and enter notes into electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Ensure services align with agency objectives and standards.
• Provide direct service to members and families as senior clinician or coach.
• Oversee program operations and coordination with other program parts.
• Manage paperwork to CARF, Medicare, Medicaid standards and agency policies.
• Oversee income streams and programmatic expenditures for the program.
• Ensure safeguards and proper handling of members' funds per policy.
• Meet with staff from other Thresholds programs for coordination and development.
• Assist with special tasks such as proposals, reports, and training.
