Job summary

Expedia Group seeks a seasoned Global Crisis Operations Analyst to monitor global threats, assess risks, and drive informed decisions. You will work with threat intelligence, meteorology, and risk data, producing concise leadership summaries and proactive traveler communications.

You will accelerate monitoring with AI-assisted tools, maintain crisis logs, and coordinate with Legal, Government Affairs, and Customer Operations. Seattle-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; six+ years can substitute.
• Experience in crisis operations, emergency management, or meteorology is preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate complex situations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Monitor threat intelligence, meteorological data, and risk sources to identify crisis events in real time.
• Assess severity, traveler impact, and escalation thresholds for crisis events.
• Coordinate cross-functional war room syncs and leader-focused summaries.
• Query operational data to quantify affected travelers and exposures; maintain trackers and logs.
