Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Global Crisis Operations Analyst to monitor threats, assess impacts on travelers, and drive data-informed crisis response across brands. You will work with SQL-based data, real-time trackers, and AI-assisted workflows, supporting leadership with concise analyses and clear escalation decisions.

You will collaborate with Customer Operations, Trust and Safety, Legal, and Communications, ensuring timely, accurate, and defensible recommendations in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in crisis operations, emergency management, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex, fast-moving situations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operations environment with competing priorities.
• Strong data skills: SQL, dashboards, and translating metrics into recommendations.
• Active use of AI tools in professional settings and ability to discuss its applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global threat intelligence, meteorological data, and risk sources to identify crisis events in real time.
• Assess severity, scope, and traveler impact of events across various disruption types.
• Produce concise internal intelligence summaries for leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align on response posture and timelines.
• Contribute to crisis operations metrics, post-event reviews, and knowledge bases.
