Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a seasoned crisis operations analyst to monitor global threat intelligence, assess traveler impact, and drive timely, data-informed decisions. You will work across a 24/7 operations environment with AI-assisted tools to accelerate monitoring, drafting of traveler communications, and escalation workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field such as Meteorology, International Relations, Security Studies, Geography, Emergency Management, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills for fast-paced crisis environments.
• Experience operating in 24/7/shift environments with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global threat intelligence feeds and identify emerging crisis events in real time.
• Assess severity, scope, and traveler impact for events (cyclones, earthquakes, wildfires, floods, unrest, terrorism).
• Apply structured frameworks to distinguish developing situations from noise and escalate with clear impact assessments.
• Maintain situational awareness across concurrent events and produce concise internal leadership briefings.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to update traveler communications and policies during incidents.
