Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking an analyst for Global Crisis Operations in Seattle. You will monitor global threat intelligence, assess traveler impact, and coordinate cross-functional response efforts across partners, legal, and communications.

You’ll develop metrics, maintain logs and dashboards, and use AI-assisted tools to accelerate monitoring and reporting while ensuring accurate judgment and timely decisions during incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in crisis operations, emergency management, or security analysis.
• Strong data skills: SQL, dashboards, and data storytelling.
• Ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience using AI tools in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global threat intelligence feeds and data to identify emerging crisis events in real time.
• Assess severity, scope, and traveler impact of events across various risk domains.
• Produce concise internal intelligence summaries for leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional war room sessions and traveler communications during incidents.
• Develop and deploy proactive messaging and governance-driven thresholds for notifications.
• Maintain crisis logs, dashboards, and knowledge bases for institutional memory.
• Translate data into escalation inputs and decision-ready reports for leadership.
