Job summary

Coleman Health Services in Warren, Ohio is seeking a Crisis Line Specialist to provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals via phone or text to individuals in our community.

You will assess risk, help create safety plans, document interactions, and collaborate with team members while upholding professionalism and empathy. A high school diploma is required; an Associate's degree and crisis intervention experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass criminal background and driving checks if selected.
• Associate's degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience in crisis intervention (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals via phone or text.
• Effectively complete risk assessments via chat or text.
• Work collaboratively with the visitor to create a safety plan.
• Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, objectivity, professionalism, effective customer service skills, and sound clinical judgment in the course of all work.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met.
• Consult with a supervisor on clinical needs as appropriate.
• Accurately document interactions.

We are seeking a Crisis Line Specialist in Warren, Ohio. In this role, you will provide crisis intervention support.

Job Duties

• Provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals via phone or text.
• Effectively complete risk assessments via chat or text
• Work collaboratively with the visitor to create a safety plan
• Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, objectivity, professionalism, effective customer service skills, and sound clinical judgment in the course of all work.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be willing to complete and have favorable results for criminal background check and driving check if selected for the position

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field.
• Experience in crisis intervention.
• Past or current experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care is preferred
