Centerstone in the United States seeks a Mobile Crisis Specialist to provide face‑to‑face, phone, and telehealth crisis response and assessment services. This role supports safety planning, service linkage, and follow‑up while maintaining timely documentation within regulatory standards.

The position operates as part of a multidisciplinary crisis response team, driving stabilization and recovery across the community. Valid driver’s license and driving to assessments required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required; Master’s preferred.
• Four years of relevant experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree with approval.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive to community assessments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health crisis calls via phone, telehealth, or in person with trauma‑informed intervention.
• Conduct rapid assessments including suicide/homicide risk and immediate support needs.
• De‑escalate to stabilize individuals in acute distress using evidence‑based strategies.
• Create immediate safety plans with individuals, utilizing natural supports and resources.
• Coordinate care and referrals to outpatient, inpatient, or community supports as appropriate.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and first responders to ensure safety and continuity of care.
• Complete all documentation of assessments, interventions, and follow‑up plans timely.
• Provide follow‑up outreach to support stabilization and engagement in services.
