La Frontera EMPACT - Suicide Prevention Center seeks a DCS Crisis Specialist to deliver direct crisis intervention services across home, school, and community settings. You will coordinate with Behavioral Health providers, Juvenile Probation, and schools to ensure continuity of care and access to community resources.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Bachelor's with one year full-time behavioral health experience, or Associate's with two years’ behavioral health experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with four years behavioral health experience to reach BHT.
• Experience with children in Department of Child Safety preferred.
• Experience using electronic health records.
• Clear communication, time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Bilingual Spanish ability a plus.
• Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct crisis services in home, in-office, in-school and community settings.
• Coordinate care with Behavioral Health providers, Juvenile Probation, School, and DCS-related entities.
• Maintain client records in accordance with agency policies.
• Oversee department vehicles and report incidents; safety checks.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; overtime may be required.
• Assist and mentor new staff or interns.
