Job summary

La Frontera Center Inc. is seeking an Children’s Urgent Response Specialist for EMPACT-SPC in Tempe or Glendale to provide direct crisis intervention in home, school, and community settings.

The role supports children and families enrolled in services, including de-escalation, transportation, parenting training, and linkage to community resources. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AZ driver license preferred.
• Fingerprint clearance card or eligibility to obtain one is required.
• Bi-lingual Spanish proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct in-home, in-office, in-school and community crisis services including de-escalation and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate care with Behavioral Health providers, schools, probation, and social services to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain client records per agency policies; support quality management and utilization review.
• Operate safely and professionally in potentially volatile crisis situations; support team members.
