Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Crisis Clinician in Spokane to provide rapid crisis intervention, triage, and assessment within a multidisciplinary team. You will engage with clients and their support networks to promote stabilization and link to ongoing behavioral health and substance use services.

The role requires a BA in behavioral health, a WA credential application within 30 days, and a valid driver’s license. Travel is required to serve community clients across various settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or a related field.
• Must apply for Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential within 30 days of hire.
• Unrestricted and valid driver’s license; ability to pass motor vehicle screening and driving test.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and follow-up triage and assessment in emotional/behavioral health crises.
• Deliver crisis and hospital diversion services for youth, adults, and families.
• Refer individuals to community stabilization resources and link to a Designated Crisis Responder (DCR).
• Complete risk assessments for suicide/homicide and coordinate with supervisors for safety.
• Collaborate with Mobile Dispatch Unit to meet contract requirements.
• Maintain timely documentation and recovery/safety planning with client networks.
• Travel to see clients in the community and between work sites.
