Job summary

The Source in Austin, TX invites applications for a full-time Patient Advocate who will provide daily crisis intervention support to clients. You will conduct intakes, discuss pregnancy options, and connect clients with resources and referrals, while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a helping field, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a helping field; social work, counseling, psychology, or sociology preferred.
• Experience in a social services setting preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred or may be required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and show compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention support with warmth and compassion.
• Conduct initial intake appointments and discuss options.
• Maintain client records and follow-up per policy.
• Coordinate referrals and program resources.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and intake processes.
• Train volunteers and participate in events as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and ensure confidentiality.
