The ideal candidate will have a social services background, Spanish/English proficiency, and be willing to travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Required bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology or related field.
• Preferred graduate degree in a related field.
• 2+ years related experience including crisis intervention.
• Proficiency in Spanish/English (written and spoken).
• Preferred ORR experience.
• Experience in social/public service with case management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals, service planning and documentation for assigned caseload.
• Interviews applicants to determine eligibility for program enrollment and establish program goals.
• Develop intake and case plans; complete necessary paperwork and social histories.
• Meet regularly with clients to discuss progress and document records.
• Plan and facilitate life management classes to help clients cope.
• Mentor clients with proper hygiene, personal appearance, budgeting, scheduling, etc.
• Refer clients to appropriate programs or agencies based on needs.
• Complete discharge plans and transfer files from active to non-active status.
• Meet all deadlines and comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of service delivery.
• Engage clients in the casework process and ensure safety of children.
• Travel to varying locations as required by the business needs.
