Job summary

Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a Crisis Intervention Engagement Technician to provide community-based outreach, engagement, and crisis intervention for individuals facing untreated mental health, substance use, or co-occurring challenges. This part-time, as-needed role serves St.

Clair, Randolph, Perry, Clinton, Washington, and surrounding counties. You will support stabilization, safety planning, and linkage to services while maintaining documentation and collaborating with partners.

Qualifications

Minimum age 21 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Personal recovery experience preferred and willingness to share lived recovery journey.

Responsibilities

Provide community-based crisis intervention, outreach, engagement, and stabilization services.
Promote recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care.
Complete necessary documentation, plans and progress notes.
Maintain timely records and ensure completion of safety plans.
Build relationships with consumers, families, hospitals, and community partners.
Attend supervision, meetings, trainings, and Chestnut-mandated education.
Adhere to Chestnut's customer service standards and protect confidentiality.
Provide backup support and perform other duties as assigned.
