Chestnut Health Systems is hiring a Crisis Intervention Engagement Technician for community outreach and crisis intervention services in Notre Dame, Illinois. This part-time role focuses on providing support to individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, collaborating closely with staff. Applicants need a high school diploma and preferably some background in human services or similar fields.
Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with various benefits offered, including a supportive work environment and opportunities for certification.
The Crisis Intervention Engagement Technician provides community-based outreach, engagement, and crisis intervention services for individuals experiencing untreated mental health, substance use, or co-occurring challenges. This position works closely with individuals in non-clinical settings, supporting stabilization, safety planning, and connection to appropriate services. This part-time position will work on an as-needed basis throughout St. Clair, Randolph, Perry, Clinton, Washington, Monroe Counties and requires collaboration with another staff member for most shifts. Preference will be given to applicants who live within these counties.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $17.00 - $18.00 an hour.
