Chestnut Health Systems Inc. is seeking a part-time Crisis Intervention Engagement Technician to provide community-based crisis intervention, outreach, and stabilization services in Illinois counties.

The role collaborates with other staff, supports safety planning, and connects individuals to needed services. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with shift differentials for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum age 21 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Personal recovery experience required and willingness to share lived recovery journey.
• Demonstrated experience or skills in human services and working with adults.
• Ability to obtain CRSS credential within one year of hire.
• Preferred background in social services, teaching, corrections/policing, patient care, or lived recovery/work experience.
• Ability to remain calm and even-tempered in potentially volatile situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with consumers, staff, and community partners.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word, email, and EMR.
• Valid driver’s license, private automobile insurance, and insurability.

Aufgaben

• Provide crisis intervention, outreach, engagement, and stabilization services.
• Promote trauma-informed recovery practices.
• Complete documentation, treatment, recovery, and safety plans.
• Maintain timely records and submit documentation on time.
• Build relationships with consumers, hospitals, jails, EMS, and community partners.
• Attend supervision, meetings, trainings, and required education.
• Support Chestnut’s customer service standards and confidentiality.
