Elizabeth Layton Center, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Crisis Case Manager to join our Outpatient Crisis team. The role involves crisis intervention, assessing danger levels, and coordinating with community resources to meet client needs.

The position requires on-site work in Paola, KS with on-call responsibilities and a commitment to a collaborative team environment and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent to meet Kansas licensing standards.
• Familiarity with mental health theory and practice.
• Clean driving record required.
• Incumbent must pass a security check as required by Medicaid Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention services and document calls.
• Assess danger level for clients reporting psychiatric crises.
• Coordinate with Mobile Crisis Unit and community resources.
• Transport clients to hospital when needed.
• Work with adults and children in homes or community settings.
• Maintain timely daily paperwork and reporting.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Familiarity with mental health theory and practice

Clean driving record

Pass security check (Medicaid)
