Job summary

Connections Health Solutions in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Unit Coordinator II to provide administrative support to clinical services, oversee enrollment verification and insurance checks, and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth unit operation.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of administrative experience, a High School Diploma, and at least 1 year in behavioral health; notary within 90 days; vaccination policy applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of behavioral health experience.
• Notary license required or the ability to become a notary within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Registers and checks enrollment eligibility, including Third Party Liability and private insurance.
• Coordinates the administrative process for handling petitions; notarizes petitions and hands off to prescribing Provider for review.
• Assists medical staff by obtaining and relaying consumer information from hospital ED staff, clinical staff, family members, and/or other providers.
• Oversees bed placement coordination and electronic health record updates; ensures timely service delivery.
• Answers phones for admission and discharge; maintains the patient board and tracks real-time status.
