Connections Health Solutions in Tucson, AZ seeks a Unit Coordinator II (FT, Front End Nights) to provide administrative and clerical support to clinical services. You will oversee registration, insurance verification, phone inquiries, unit census, and coordinate with clinical staff to keep the unit running smoothly.

You will register enrollment eligibility, handle petitions, relay information from hospital and ED staff, arrange law enforcement related tasks, manage bed placement and patient

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of administrative experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of behavioral health experience.
• Arizona Level I Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Notary required or ability to become notary within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Registers and checks enrollment eligibility, including Third Party Liability and private insurance.
• Coordinates the administrative process for handling petitions; notarizes petitions and logs them for review.
• Assists medical staff by obtaining and relaying consumer information from hospital ED staff and families.
• Arranges pick up orders with police and oversees COE/PAD detention orders where applicable.
• Coordinates bed placement and electronic health records updates; manages admissions/discharges calls.
