• Prepares for jury trials; ensures witnesses are subpoenaed; communicates with defense counsel regarding plea negotiations.
• Researches case law in preparation for motions; subpoenas witnesses; conducts motion hearings; argues motions to the court.
• Drafts appellate briefs and motions; provides assistance to law enforcement regarding legal questions.
