Job summary

Wright Tree Service seeks a Crew Leader to coach and support a forestry crew, ensuring safety, production goals, and efficient task prioritization on job sites. The role involves coordinating with the General Foreperson, applying safety practices, and maintaining accurate work records.

The candidate should have strong leadership, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to read maps and electrical diagrams, with bilingual English/Spanish helpful for field communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years on tree trimming/clearing crews.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Must have First-Aid and CPR cards or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coach crew to meet production goals and ensure safety compliance on site.
• Identify safety hazards and enforce procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate task assignments and prioritize work as directed by General Foreperson.
• Operate or supervise use of climbing gear and herbicide application as needed.
• Maintain records of timesheets, work orders, and crew costs for reporting.
