Job summary

Wright Tree Service in the United States is seeking a Crew Leader with CDL credentials to supervise and coach a tree care crew on job sites. The role focuses on safety, prioritizing tasks, and compliance with company policies and OSHA standards while coordinating with the General Foreperson.

The Crew Leader will assign daily workloads, manage equipment, and ensure safe access to sites, including traffic control and public safety measures. Experience in tree trimming and chipping is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must have valid First-Aid/CPR as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coaches crew on company policies, procedures, safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Assigns crew tasks and prioritizes work to meet production goals.
• Operates and maintains tree trimming equipment and related tools.
• Ensures access to job sites and communicates with customers or property owners.
• Maintains safety, traffic control and barrier setup as required.
• Documents timesheets, work orders and crew costs for production reporting.
• Coordinates emergency response and supports safety culture.
