Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Crew Leader to guide a tree-trimming crew in delivering safe, high-quality work on utility-scale projects. You will coach the crew on safety, supervise tasks, and ensure adherence to client requirements and company policies.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, a valid CPR card (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and a driver’s license with potential for DOT roadside duties. On-site work with travel for emergencies is common.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience on tree trimming or clearing crews.
Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Driver's license and DOT medical card preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Coach crew on company policies, on-the-job safety practices, and OSHA regulations.
Assign tasks and prioritize work on the job site.
Operate herbicide application equipment and maintain related records.
Obtain access to the work site from property owners and coordinate with customers.
Set up warning signs, barriers, and traffic control devices to protect workers and the public.
Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance.
Assist in emergencies or disaster response and travel as needed.
