Job summary

The City of Beaumont, Texas, seeks a capable crew leader to supervise a street maintenance team performing concrete and asphalt repairs, catch basins, drainage, and related construction tasks. This on-site role requires five years of concrete construction experience, one year of supervisory work, and a valid CDL.

You will manage materials, coordinate safe operations, and serve the public. Work hours are Mon-Fri 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years’ experience in concrete construction including repairing and maintenance.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Class A-CDL or B-CDL with good driving record; Texas residency requirement applies.

Responsibilities

• Direct and serve as working leader for a crew performing street maintenance and concrete/asphalt tasks.
• Ensure crew has proper materials, coordinate safety and transport to sites.
• Act as trouble shooter for the crew and maintain equipment.
• Interact with citizens and follow city policies and procedures.
