Job summary

The City of Beaumont is seeking a skilled equipment operator to maintain parks and public works sites. You will operate a range of light to medium equipment, perform mowing, debris removal, and hauling, and report malfunctions.

This on-site role requires a valid Class B CDL with a good driving record (Texas residency rules apply). Candidates should be able to work Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed, in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months experience operating designated equipment.
• Experience in landscaping or lawn maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate light to medium equipment in parks and public works areas.
• Mow grass, remove stumps/debris, collect refuse, haul materials.
• Report malfunctions and participate in safety procedures.
