City of Baytown is seeking a skilled Concrete Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing, ensuring high-quality work on various construction projects.

Responsibilities include preparing and leveling surfaces, installing forms, and collaborating with a crew to meet schedules. The role leads a crew in maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, drainage, and asphalt repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Class B CDL required.
• One year of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in streets, sidewalks, and drainage repairs.
• Prepare concrete bases, formwork, pour and finish.
• Ensure safety rules and project deadlines.
• Read blueprints and communicate with crew and public.
