Job summary

Desoto Group Inc is seeking a maintenance lead to oversee a unit performing operational, construction or maintenance activities. You will plan and organize jobs, oversee repairs, coordinate cross-department projects and maintain records of work performed while enforcing safety regulations.

Applicants should have an Associate’s degree, 4 years of relevant crew experience in water/wastewater systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Four (4) years of related work experience on a crew in construction or maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead a unit or group by assigning work tasks, scheduling equipment and services, and overseeing maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule and assign activities by reviewing priorities and filing work orders; refer jobs for contract work.
• Promote a safe work environment by scheduling training, safety meetings, and enforcing safety practices.
