Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Lead O&M Tech in Florida to lead a crew operating, maintaining, and repairing water and wastewater infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. The role requires experience in water/wastewater maintenance and strong leadership capabilities.

Details include a schedule of four 10-hour days, standby and on-call duties, and a competitive hourly rate. Valid Florida CDL and state certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of water and wastewater systems and components.
• Experience leading a team of workers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of workers in operations and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Oversee customer service to residents and businesses, including inquiries and complaints.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Flush hydrants, perform valve exercises, and pressure tests of hydrants.
• Train and mentor crew members in maintenance and repair techniques.
