Job summary

Central States Water Resources in Dallas, TX is seeking a Water/Wastewater Sr. Maintenance Technician to supervise field crews and oversee maintenance projects. You will manage work orders, coordinate with contractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on field work, on-call availability, and delivering reliable water and wastewater service. A CDL is preferred, with a high school diploma and OSHA training; experience reading plans and operating construction

Qualifications

• CDL license preferred.
• OSHA safety training preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/construction plans.
• Experience safely using construction equipment (backhoes, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of all Technicians in their assigned zone.
• Ensure all maintenance/work orders are executed in a timely manner.
• Execute work on open work orders and projects as assigned.
• Dig and install new mains as needed.
• Supervise water/wastewater line repairs and new line installation.
• Communicate task completion to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
