Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to manage daily crew operations, coordinate with management on hiring needs, deadlines, and safety protocols, and troubleshoot field issues. You will train, mentor, and supervise employees and contractors, enforce OSHA standards, maintain records, and ensure DOT compliance for vehicles.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills in a physical field setting with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3120 hours of working experience in the line clearance industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Discusses with property owners to obtain access and coordinate work; refers complex cases.
• Promotes good customer relations through effective completion of assigned work.
• Maintains accurate records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Helps control crew costs and utilization of resources.
• Furnishes reports of orders completed and incidents to foreperson and utility reps.
