Job summary

IHOP in the United States is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing kitchen and dining team. You will help prepare staff, equipment, and supplies to meet daily business needs while promoting teamwork.

You will assign duties, communicate new menu items and promotions, train new hires, monitor performance, check deliveries, and ensure adherence to SOPs. The position offers $7.25 per hour and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not required!

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and readiness of personnel, equipment and supplies to meet business needs.
• Help assign employee duties and encourage teamwork.
• Inform staff about new menu items, specials and promotions to ensure understanding of food prep and service.
• Supervise performance and behavior, enforce policies and maintain high service standards.
• Monitor time cards, adjust schedules, enforce SOPs and check deliveries for accuracy.
