Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field with 3–5 years of related experience.
• Understanding of financial statements and commercial/personal credit reports.
• Credit experience in a commercial setting is required.
• Database experience; SAP helpful.
• Construction credit experience a plus.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word & PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of accounts receivable to ensure payments align with terms.
• Approve or decline new credit applications after credit investigation.
• Visit customers on-site to review finances and discuss credit needs.
• Meet with executives, sales and general managers to discuss accounts and credit policies.
• Prepare customer correspondence for inquiries and maintain customer data in the database.
• Prepare month-end account status reports for internal distribution.
• Oversee legal actions when accounts are turned over to collection attorneys.
