Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Credit Manager to oversee accounts receivable, collections, credit administration, and cash application processes. This role ensures timely collection of balances, establishes credit limits, and supports compliance while partnering with sales and operations to manage customer risk and maintain strong relationships.

The position requires a minimum of 5 years in AR/credit/collections or finance and a High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in AR, credit, collections, or finance.
• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with commercial credit accounts and collection processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer credit accounts and monitor credit exposure to minimize financial risk.
• Review aging reports and oversee collection activities to ensure timely payment.
• Establish, evaluate, and maintain customer credit limits and payment terms.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, payment issues, short pays, and disputes.
• Oversee cash application activities, including checks, EFT, ACH, and unapplied cash.
• Review and approve holds, releases, and credit-related adjustments.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Prepare analyses, collection reports, and credit metrics for leadership.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulations.
• Train staff on credit policies and procedures and financial controls.
• Develop positive working relationships with customers and partners.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
