Job summary

Farmers Furniture seeks a skilled Accounts Receivable and Credit Supervisor to coordinate, oversee, and manage credit and collection duties in our store operations. You will approve or decline credit lines, perform investigations, and ensure adherence to procedures that minimize losses while growing receivables.

You will lead staff, supervise AR and collections activities, maintain accurate records, and drive compliance with our bookkeeping and customer-file policies.

Qualifications

• Three years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, loan processing, or collections.
• High School Diploma or GED required; valid driver's license.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage accounts receivable and collections.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and direct credit operations.
• Oversee accounts receivable and collection activities.
• Review applications and determine credit approvals or rejections.
• Contact delinquent customers to collect payments.
• Prepare documents for legal action when needed.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of customer files.
