Job summary

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience in accounting/bookkeeping, loan processing, and/or collections.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and leads staff handling accounts receivable and collections.
• Oversees activities of accounts receivable and collection areas, ensuring documentation and procedures are followed.
• Reviews applications, verifies financial status, and recommends credit approvals or rejections; sets credit limits.
• Contacts overdue customers by phone/text; sends notices; facilitates payments and collections.
• Prepares paperwork for potential legal action; coordinates with attorneys or outside agencies for collection of delinquent accounts.
• Maintains organized customer files and daily bookkeeping records; ensures cash receipts are deposited daily.
