Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Credit Representative to manage customer accounts and payments, minimize credit exposure, and provide customer support as needed in our Knoxville, TN office.

You will perform collections of past-due invoices, monitor daily receipts, build strong customer relationships with sales teams, and collaborate with billing and cash applications to ensure accurate reconciliation and timely payment processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year work experience required.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to set priorities, multitask, meet deadlines, and resolve problems with a high sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Perform collection of past-due invoices and document activity in collections software and Salesforce.
• Monitor daily receipts and draft returns; activate/deactivate accounts to control credit exposure.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships ensuring timely response to customer needs.
• Collaborate with sales representatives to collect balances and preserve customer relationships through credit offerings.
• Analyze customer trends and adjust terms and deposits as needed; identify entities with multiple accounts.
• Work with store reconcilers and billing teams to research manual re-bills and communicate findings.
