Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in Credit, AR, Collections or related functions, including supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis, collections, AR management, and credit-risk principles.
• Ability to analyze financial statements to evaluate creditworthiness and risk.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and financial statement knowledge.
• Demonstrated leadership to develop teams and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Credit and Accounts Receivable teams and oversee day-to-day operations across both functions.
• Drive timely collection of customer receivables and manage AR aging and past-due balances.
• Establish and maintain credit limits and payment terms for new and existing customers based on risk factors.
• Evaluate customer creditworthiness and monitor changes in financial condition and payment behavior.
• Oversee customer order holds and releases, balancing commercial needs with credit policies.
• Partner with Sales to address credit issues, held orders, and payment concerns.
• Lead investigation of payment discrepancies, deductions, and disputes.
• Maintain and update credit policies and procedures as needed.
• Provide AR, collections, and credit-risk reporting to Finance and Leadership.
• Identify high-risk accounts and recommend actions such as changes to limits or terms.
• Coach and develop team members, lead hiring as needed.
• Lead process improvements to simplify and strengthen Credit and AR processes.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders as escalation point.
