Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of credit analysis experience.
• Strong credit, financial and risk analysis skills.
• Experience embedding AI/LLM tools into workflows.
• Proficiency with analytical and spreadsheet tools.
• Willingness to develop data and automation skills.
• Deliver high-quality work across multiple credits with limited oversight.
• Ability to coach junior colleagues.
• Strong collaboration and relationship management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; synthesize analyses clearly.
• Maintain high standards for quality, traceability and governance.
• Sound judgment on responsible AI use in controlled environment.
• Office presence required at least two days per week.
• Final-stage candidates must attend in-person interview at nearest S&P Global Ratings office.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end credit analysis and surveillance for assigned credits.
• Synthesize portfolio performance, market signals, and peer context into decision-ready insights.
• Embed generative AI and large language model tools into workflows with human accountability.
• Guide and coach junior analysts in credit analysis and data tooling.
• Contribute to automation initiatives.
• Translate complex data into clear, evidence-based client narratives.
• Build trusted relationships through credible, collaborative engagement.
• Apply methodology, confidentiality, and data governance requirements consistently.
• Escalate issues early.
