Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a data-driven AI/ML expert to join its Data Services Team. You will partner with stakeholders, design and deploy scalable machine learning and generative AI solutions, and analyze large datasets to drive business outcomes.

You will work with engineers, researchers, and cross-functional teams to build platforms and adopt best practices, helping shape the next generation of our analytics platform.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI/ML or data-driven solutions in AWS.
• Strong Python programming with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Hands-on Java and Spring Boot development.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and virtual machines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Proficient with Git version control.
• Strong SQL skills with structured/unstructured data.
• Knowledge of ML concepts including NLP and generative AI.
• Experience building AI agents or autonomous workflows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and plan solution delivery.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to design, build, and deploy scalable ML and generative AI solutions.
• Analyze large datasets and develop data-driven insights to improve business outcomes.
• Build platforms, services, and tooling to optimize, evaluate, and fine-tune ML models for performance and scalability.
• Research and apply emerging AI and ML technologies to enhance existing solutions and drive innovation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to the development of best practices, technical standards, and reusable AI capabilities across the organization.
