CountryPlace Mortgage - A Cavco Company in Plano, TX is seeking a Credit Analyst Trainee to join the Originations Department in person. You will review loan documentation and collaborate with Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriting, and Compliance to support credit decisions.

This role emphasizes building underwriting knowledge, investor guideline expertise, and progression into a Credit Analyst role. Candidates should have a finance-related degree and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Finance or Management.
• Demonstrated aptitude for financial analysis and interpretation of documentation.
• Ability and desire to progress into a Credit Analyst role within approximately six months based on performance and business needs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.

Responsabilités

• Review loan documents to render credit decisions in compliance with investor guidelines.
• Maintain the highest level of service possible for retailers and customers.
• Provide unparalleled service, ensuring needs are met in a timely and accurate manner.
• Explain loan approval or denial reasons to appropriate party.
• Work with internal staff to provide follow-up, counter offers and additional information.
• Refer loan requests with recommendations and documentation to underwriters.
