Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Credit Analyst to manage the accounts receivable portfolio for the District Credit Manager, focusing on risk minimization and maximizing collections. You will assess creditworthiness and ensure compliance with company policies while coordinating with internal teams and customers.

Key duties include underwriting on GC’s/owners, monitoring aging, preparing monthly reports, and improving collection outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in credit and collections; construction industry preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Mgmt. preferred.
• Timely collection and follow up within the assigned portfolio.
• Cross-functional capability and strong communication.
• Analytical financial skills and problem solving.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit investigations on existing and potential customers and projects.
• Perform underwriting analysis on GC’s/owners, sureties, and other pertinent parties.
• Analyze information from financial statements, D&B, NACM to set credit limits.
• Prepare and submit monthly collection reports to management.
• Monitor aging accounts and determine actions needed.
• Work with Shared Services to ensure timely responses and customer experience.
• Perform ad hoc reporting for credit and finance leadership.
• Communicate with District Management regularly.
• Manage collections calls and accounts within portfolio.
• Coordinate credit assistance requests from internal/external sources.
• Reconcile short payments and discrepancies; review lien/bond dates.
