Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking a Credit Analyst to manage the accounts receivable portfolio for the district, with emphasis on minimizing risk and maximizing collections. The role reports to the Director of Credit Collections, NA and involves underwriting, collections, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reviewing creditworthiness, preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in credit & collections, construction industry preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Mgmt related field preferred.
• Timely collection and follow up within the portfolio.
• Cross-functional capability.
• Understanding District metric success.
• Continued growth in underwriting, analysis, collection practices, job securitization, and industry specific activity.
• Excellent & timely communication to maximize customer experience.
• Analytical financial skills.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Organizational and Interpersonal skills; ability to handle stress, manage time and multi-tasking.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Computer software skills (Windows, Office, Excel).
• Ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit investigations on existing and potential customers and projects.
• Perform underwriting analysis on GC’s/owners, sureties, and other pertinent parties for new jobs.
• Analyze and interpret financial statements, D&B, NACM data to establish credit extension within authority.
• Prepare monthly reports to management regarding collection issues.
• Monitor aging accounts and determine actions needed.
• Collaborate with Shared Services for timely responses and customer experience.
• Ad hoc reporting for credit and finance leadership.
• Regularly communicate with District Management.
• Perform collection calls and account management within portfolio.
• Field internal and external requests for credit assistance from various sources.
• Reconcile short payments and discrepancies; conduct account reconciliations.
• Review lien/bond filing dates to ensure collectability.
• Follow up on disputes and coordinate with Districts and sales.
• Assist in placement of accounts with collection agencies.
