ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is seeking a Credit Analyst to manage the accounts receivable portfolio with a focus on minimizing risk and maximizing collections. You will make underwriting decisions and work with internal and external stakeholders to assess creditworthiness and resolve balances.

The role reports to the Director of Credit Collections, NA and emphasizes collaboration, timely communication, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the credit & collection field
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Mgmt. related field preferred
• Timely collection and follow up within the assigned portfolio
• Cross-functional capability
• Understanding and participation in District metric success
• Continued growth in underwriting, analysis, collection practices, and industry activity
• Excellent and timely communication to maximize customer experience
• Analytical financial skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stress, manage time and multi-task
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Computer software skills (Windows, Office, Excel)

Responsabilités

• Conduct credit investigations on existing and potential customers and projects
• Perform underwriting analysis on GC’s/owners, sureties, and other pertinent parties for new jobs
• Analyze and interpret information from financial statements, D&B, NACM to establish unsecured and secured credit within limits
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to management regarding collection issues
• Follow aging of accounts and determine required actions
• Collaborate with Shared Services to ensure timely responses and good customer experience
• Perform ad hoc reporting requested by credit and finance leadership
• Communicate regularly with District Management
• Perform collection calls and account management within portfolio
• Field requests for credit assistance from various sources
• Reconcile short payments and discrepancies
• Review lien/bond filing dates to ensure collectability
• Follow up on disputes and resolve with districts and salesmen
• Facilitate placement with collection agencies and escalated collection efforts
• Participate in training for next level roles
