Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Monroe, NC is seeking a Credit Analyst to manage the accounts receivable portfolio for the district, with a focus on minimizing risk and maximizing collections. You will evaluate creditworthiness, perform underwriting on GC’s, sureties, and other parties, and collaborate with internal teams to secure timely payments.

The role requires 2+ years in credit/collections, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 2+ years in the credit & collection field; construction industry preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Mgmt. related field preferred.
• Timely collection and follow up within the assigned portfolio.
• Analytical financial skills.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently.
• Computer software skills (Windows, Office, Excel).
• Cross-functional capability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit investigations on existing and potential customers and projects.
• Perform underwriting analysis on GC’s/owners, sureties, and other pertinent parties for new jobs.
• Analyze and interpret financial statements, D&B, NACM and other credit data to set credit limits.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports on collections to management.
• Follow aging accounts and determine necessary actions.
• Collaborate with Shared Services to ensure timely responses and customer experience.
• Perform ad hoc reporting for credit and finance leadership.
• Communicate with District Management at all levels.
• Perform collection calls and manage accounts within portfolio.
• Facilitate placement of accounts with collection agencies as needed.
